Zoo Field Trip

It is almost the end of my fifth grade school year and my school is taking a trip to the St. Louis Zoo. I was grouped with my friends, Harper, Maddie, Ella, Clara, and Emily. Clara’s mom was our chaperone. We saw every animal possible. Although the new baby elephant was unable to be seen by the public because of a recent storm that damaged its enclosure, we had the best time. We did get to see new poplar bear twins that just moved to the zoo. For lunch, I bought a hotdog from a restaurant at the zoo. However it did not taste the best. After lunch, we went to the gift shop. I got a stuffed animal polar bear that I named Pip, and a small elephant. It was very fun. I hope our field trip next year is just as fun!
