Donuts After Swim
Today after my swim practice I went to get donuts with my friend Ruth and her family for National Donut Day. I got a Vanilla Long John and some donut holes. I bought 12 but they gave me 13! I sadly dropped one on the ground though. My friend Ruth got a Vanilla Iced Cinnamon Roll. We bought the donuts from Donut Panic, the new donut shop in Columbia. Photography Contest
I won a photography contest for the Monroe County Arts Alliance. My photo imaged a salt and pepper shaker next to a lightly dimmed candle at sunset on a wooden table at Gallaghers restaurant. My photo won first place for the category Monroe County. My friends Gwenny and Lennon also won. Lennon won second place for both the categories People and Animals and Pets. Gwenny won third place for the category Monroe County.

Zoo Field Trip
It is almost the end of my fifth grade school year and my school is taking a trip to the St. Louis Zoo. I was grouped with my friends, Harper, Maddie, Ella, Clara, and Emily. Clara’s mom was our chaperone. We saw every animal possible. Although the new baby elephant was unable to be seen by the public because of a recent storm that damaged its enclosure, we had the best time. First Day Of Middle School
My first day of middle school was on August 15. My homeroom teacher’s name is Mrs. R. This is her first year teaching 5th grade. She taught 7th grade in past years. Middle school is so different than 4th grade. I can’t believe that I switch classes. My first favorite class is art. My second favorite class is social studies. I am still trying to get used to my new locker. Last year it was only a half locker. This year I get a full locker and it has a lock. I am excited for this new school year.

Leprechauns
I think leprechauns are tricky. My leprechaun is probably the trickiest. He turned my toilet green! He also put sticky notes everywhere. They usually come when you think they are not coming. Leprechauns are mischievous.

Harley’s Adventure
ONCE UPON A TIME… There was a dog named Harley. Her owner was named Sophie. She was a lovely girl. Every day she would take Harley on a walk. One day on their walk there was a crying baby. The mom had no idea what to do but Harley did. Harley raced to the baby with Sophie behind her. Penguins for a Pet
A penguin would be a good pet because they’re funny, cute and like to explore. I think penguins are funny because they peck at things and ork. You never know what they are going to do. Penguins are cute because they waddle and look adorable. They look like they are wearing a tuxedo coat. Penguins are curious so they like to explore. To them a house is like an undiscovered two story land. A penguin would be a great pet.

Fall Farm Party
I was invited to a Fall party, so I went. I was the first kid there, so I jumped on hay bales with my Dad. It was a blast. My Dad and I went four wheel riding while my mom talked. Homeschool 2021
I am homeschooled, so I go to a homeschool group. There are so many fun things to do. There is hiking, park day, yoga and sometimes museums. At hiking we hike and play. At park day we run and play. At yoga we practice yoga and play. I sometimes play with the big kids. I also play with the kids around my age. I love homeschool because I meet new people and go to new places.

HALLOWEEN 2021
I had a blast this Halloween. I went to my friends house. My friends name is Ella. Ella invited me and my other friend named Ruby. This Halloween, I was a werewolf. Ella and Ruby were both haunted cheerleaders. At my friends house I devoured hot cocoa and lots of candy. I also ate a cupcake. One of the houses was super spooky. Trick or treating with my friends is the best.
